The Art of Asking Out Now!!

The Art of Asking, Amanda’s first book for the mainstream press, hit bookstore shelves, mailboxes, and inboxes around the world on November 11th. Expanding upon her widely popular TED Talk from 2013- the book continues to explore the ways in which “asking” and “giving” play vital roles in today’s artistic communities, and our lives in general.

The book release was supported by a 14 day tour around the US and Canada. Head back to the landing page at to order the book, and check out interviews from Amanda’s The Art of Asking Book Tour on YouTube

...i borrowed the above phrase from my friend maria popova's blog ( - it's awesome)...i think the phrase pretty much explains itself. i put a lot of time and effort into this blog and want you to have it and read it for free. if you want to give me some help for the time and effort, THANK YOU. you can either kick me back directly through paypal using the button below, or if you want to take some MUSIC TOO (even better, yay!) go to the store section and kick me back through paying what you want for an album or a song.

This is My fourth time re-reading this beautiful piece of literary wonder!
Every time I finish it, I put it down, sigh, wipe away a tear and then pick it right back up again!
Truly Amazing, honest and loving. I devoured every second!
