Went to Dana-Farber and donated platelets today. It didn't really hurt, they let me watch movies & gave me snacks and drinks. Kinda like JetBlue..... except the destination is the fantastic feeling you get from knowing you just saved several lives!

I was looking for friends on craigslist and I put an ad up in the strictly platonic section. all I got was a bunch of middle aged men trying to elicit s*x from me. lost a little faith in humanity.

Went to SXSW to shoot for the Boston Phoenix. The Phoenix died. I attended the best ninja gig ever, got to help out and left feeling lighter in the head and heart. Thank you Rick for a ride back to town. Thank you Amanda for everything else.

The only way i know how to deal with depression, is with booze, or so i thought but its not working anymore. A few months ago the doctors found 2 brain tumors and they magically went away. Ever since then my depression has been in full swing.

Reading this really hit home. I grew up in a little town about 20 mins north of Boston and if you were the slightest bit different you were tormented. The four years i spent at Marblehead High were probably the worst years of my life.

Today I worked 14 hours, had at least 6 mental breakdowns, sent an email to my boss explaining that my job demands too much time & energy & it's sucking the will to live right out of me...let's see how that goes over in the morning.

Personally speaking I know the huge sacrifice it is to give up your plans to take care of someone through cancer. It's so moving that Amanda would do this ❤
