...i borrowed the above phrase from my friend maria popova's blog ( - it's awesome)...i think the phrase pretty much explains itself. i put a lot of time and effort into this blog and want you to have it and read it for free. if you want to give me some help for the time and effort, THANK YOU. you can either kick me back directly through paypal using the button below, or if you want to take some MUSIC TOO (even better, yay!) go to the store section and kick me back through paying what you want for an album or a song.

If I had an assisted suicide kit, The Bed Song would be in it. It is actually more painful with every listen. And is pretty much the story of my 15 year marriage so far.

Oh Amanda. I love you so much! This album is amazing, just like every other album you’ve put out. It kills me that I haven’t seen you live yet. I look forward to that day…. Thank you for being you and making the art you make. You make the world a better place.

All you had to do was ask … :) watching your TED talk and streaming this album are cheering up the day of a lonely backpacker – alone in paradise. I’ll be getting the album for whatever scraps of money remain when I get home from my journey. Thank you, for this and for all the times your music has resounded with my own emotions. Thank you.

Love the album. Melody Dean: Hazel O’Conner tribute? Sounds like her to me. Sounds “of the period too.”
