okay let’s give this a shot. CROWD-SOURCED WEARABLE ART CREATION TIME! introducing the POST-WAR TRADE COLLECTIVE! we want to give YOU- the amazing artists in our community- the chance to design merchandise items AND receive partial funds from the sale. we’re gonna start small- just a T-shirt this time around. but if this works- we’ll branch out to posters and who knows what else- show us what you got! we’re gonna kick this off with a theme, you guessed it: WE ARE THE MEDIA
Here’s how this will work:
-Designs should be submitted to [FACEBOOK TAB LINK PENDING]
-there will be a one week submission period from March 3rd to March 10th
-Amanda will then choose the 5-10 best designs. Chosen designs will be made public for a one week voting period from March 11th to March 18th at [FACEBOOK TAB LINK PENDING]
-once you the people have voted on your favorite design- there will be a FLASH 48 hour pre-order period. we will message everyone through the socials to let you know when pre-order begins
-once the pre-order period is over, the shirts will go into production and will then be posted to you.
What is in it for YOU?
the designer who submits the winning entry will receive:
-name recognition anywhere the design is mentioned/posted on Amanda’s web-properties
– 10 t-shirts in sizes of your choice.
– 15% of Net proceeds from the pre-order sale (after production, shipping, and any e-transaction fees)
Design Specs:
-design should incorporate text or imagery that reflects the WE ARE THE MEDIA theme
-design should be appropriate for all ages, races, genders, walks of life.
-design should be one side (t-shirt FRONT)
-design should be limited to three (3) colors
-design should indicate t-shirt color. available shirts colors here: https://old.amandapalmer.tasty.studio/post-war-shirt-types/
-all designs must be saved to scale and submitted in vector graphics format. EPS files are preferred. We can also accept .AI, .PSD, and .SVG files. Please do not send files saved in JPG, PDF, PNG, or TIFF format.
-please include your full legal name, mailing address, and email address with your submission

Intellectual Property:
we reserve the right to add the item to Amanda’s existing webstore, or produce for tour, if we LOVE the design or if demand appears high enough after the pre-order. designers do NOT earn profit from future sales via the webstore or other outlets- only through the pre-order.

-when and where will the winning design be for sale?

-how will i be notified if i have won?
well we will try via carrier falcon or email, but it’s likely gonna be email. not falcon.
-am i able to purchase more than one shirt?
of course you can. why not get an extra for that special someone/patch-work quilt?
-when will the shirts be shipped?
within 3-4 weeks of your purchase
-i live overseas…is this a problem?
oooooohhhhh jealous. This is NOT a problem, but please be aware that the further away you are, the more expensive it is for us to get you your order. shipping rates apply. carrier falcons have insatiable appetites.
-what sizes/sexes will the shirts be available in?
whatever size/sex that you self-identify. but more specifically, men’s S-3XL, women’s S-XL, youth M-L
-who do i notify if i have a submission/purchase/shipping issue or dont receive my shirt?
