quick one from the grassy lands of the splore festival, in case you’re here ….

i mean WHY NOT?? i heard about this festival a few weeks ago and asked if they’d trade me a few tickets for a few uke songs and they were like HELL YEAH, here’s a tent for you!! so tonight me and ash will sleep in our first festival tent ….

and

i’m now officially a last-minute surprise guest at the legendary splore festival here in beautiful new zealand. huzzah

i’m playing tonight (friday) at the wellness tent (we will drink shots every time i say “wellness”) at 10pm…. i will be singing and loving and jamming with wonderful princess chelsea

and another little kids set tomorrow at noon at the rumpus room / the kids stage!!

lots of joy and ukulele everywhere. we are so lucky to be able to do these things. i don’t take a moment of this for granted. the more the rest of the world is in lockdown and unable to romp the more i feel the awe of romping.

kiwis: if you’re here, TELL ME!! if there are patrons i’ll update this post with a place for us to meet under a tree disco ball or something!! i’ll check the post later – but if you are here hopefully you’ll come tonight at 10 and wave me down.
