a very quick one!

well, my frozen elsa cape sure is coming in handy this week. this little video iembedded here is the same one i just uploaded to the CAMEO app.

why? 

well….after years of saying “no” to joining cameo (and it was hard, because i have an old friend who works there in the music dept), i’ve just changed my mind….and joined the growing list of artists who’ve jumped aboard the cameo bandwagon for one reason: to help inject funds into the biden/harris campaign and ensure a historic landslide.

this is one of the most effective ways i can think of right now to raise as much money as possible.

so….i’m selling a limited number of these personalized video messages (probably no more than 30, because i’m a busy goddam mom and i want these to be GOOD) on cameo for $250 each, and all of the money is going straight to fund the biden/harris campaign.

if you’ve never used cameo, it’s super simple:

it’s an app through which you purchase a private video from an artist/comedian/athlete/celeb.

they can cost as little as $10 and as much as $1,000. there are all sorts of weirdos using it, from my pal brian viglione, to snoop dogg, to charlie sheen (?!eek), and alyssa milano (who is also sending 100% of her profit to the biden campaign).

the app looks like this:

the video message can be for YOU or….for anyone you want.

you can name the person, say a few words, give me some direction about what you’d like. i then make the video (within a few days) for you and the app sends it through to you, and an email or text notifies you. TA DA.

it’s very fun.

some ideas:

-send a video as a surprise to a friend who’s a fan and feeling down….

-buy a loving message from me for your favorite amanda palmer HATER!

-give someone a birthday song from me! (ukulele! piano! you tell me!)….

-get some early christmas shopping done and BUY THEM AN AMANDA PALMER video.

-send me a poem or quote (not a long one, include a link or title so i can google) and i’ll read it!… 

-ask me to play a verse of a favorite song just for you….

-give someone a miscarriage or abortion get well message!

-if you have an amanda palmer fan in your life, buy them a video now and save it for a birthday, anniversary or christmas. there are no rules about how far ahead you can think….

obviously, you can get REAL CREATIVE with this.
