emergency book reading hug

greetings from bed. this is a picture i took of the sunrise this morning. it’s beautiful here and my insides are all apart.

i spent the day with ash but in the cracks, i followed the horrorshow unfolding in my country’s capital.

today, the confederate flag flew in the capitol building of the united states.

holy mother of god.

someone on twitter asked for a reading of “goodnight moon”. back when trump was elected, i started doing almost-nightly live readings of goodnight moon. because why not and it helped.

i don’t have a copy of goodnight moon here – so i grabbed a copy of another book from the library. it was called “i need a hug.”
