HOORAY WE ARE LIVE-STREAMING TONIGHT’S SHOW, free to all! 8 pm EDT
QUICKIE: LATE-BREAKING!!! TONIGHT – SAT, AUG 13th – We are live-streaming (love-streaming) the New York show tonight…FREE TO THE PUBLIC (thanks patreon!)…please share the link, and RSVP and start chatting!
I love it when a good plan comes together. My dad’s been in and out of the hospital and I have had very little time to actually practice my songs, but when has that ever stopped me before?? Check me out this morning in my hotttt COVID-FREE outfit!:
We managed to pull together a last-minute local camera & streaming crew so that we could broadcast tonight’s incredibly special show at the Old Dutch Church in Kingston, NY to THE WORLD!!
It’s my first show back in AMERICALAND, and for such a good cause: O+ raises awareness and money to get musicians access to healthcare.
I’ll be playing a long set of old and new songs, and pulling out lots of musical and guest surprises.
Stick some wine in the fridge, put on the kettle, cozy in, and get ready to spend the night with me, Gracie & Rachel, writers/readers Father Nathan Monk and Sophie Strand and very special guest, and last-minute addition, Ukrainian performance artist Svitlana Zavialova. And the entire evening will be MC’ed by the incomparable Chris Wells. We will sing, cry, read, dance, and otherwise cause all sorts of ruckus in a beautiful local church.
The webcast is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC with no advertising, no sponsorships and no branding, thanks to you, my patrons; it’s fully paid for so that EVERYONE can enjoy it all from home in full color. The comments are open to everyone and I imagine it’ll be a great one-time community coming together to listen, learn, and love.
Cast opens at 7:30pm ET, the show itself starts at 8pm ET. RSVP now and get ready for a beautiful night.
Our ol’ pal Hayley Rosenblum is up at the venue with us today and is gonna be helming the cast and monitoring the comments! YAYYYY!!!!!
Please please tune in, and donate to O+ if you can.
It’ll be archived for future watching forever, but there’s nothing like being there. We will officially “thing” this once we know the cast has worked and we’ll also send along a ton of photos from the show: both Hayley and one of our beloved patrons and Maine-iac journalist Aimsel Ponti are going to be taking still photos.
IF YOU COMING TO THE ACTUAL SHOW – use the comments here to wave one another down and m ay I suggest you convene somewhere outside the church – maybe in the graveyard? – at around 7-7:15pm? Use your playing card magic.
