Just one photo that says so much
Hi loves
Happy June and Happy Pride Month
šššŖšššā„š¹šš„šš³ļøāā§ļø
Iām off for the weekend and deep in kid land but this photo was just texted to me by the photographer and it almost made me cry so I wanted to share it.
This is a little joy snapshot of me and Storm Large, taken yesterday at my final Gravesdie gig with Leslie Jamison (it was EPIC, and youāll get the film/transcript soon) in front of wall at Graveside Variety that is covered in art made and donated by my patrons.
We are pulling the space down and Iām about to take all of the art off the walls and keep it somewhere safe; itāll be traveling with me to wherever the next spiritual destination happens to be. Iāll know soon.
There are no words to tell you all how much I love this life, love art, loved running this crowdfunded venue, love my friends, love my lovers, love my new songs, love my community, love my band, and love my kid.
Sometimes one photo just brings it all together.
Thanks to the photographer, Mr. Anthony Mulcahy, a gentle Irishman with a massive heart. I have the feeling he and I will be making a lot of art together in the coming year.
Bonus,
This morning at Opus 40…where Ash once starred in the āMotherā video, also funded by patrons. It was my cry against Trump and his wall. Watch it if you havenāt, here:
