Welcome, all, to the NEW AmandaPalmer.net

Hello everybody….it’s HERE! My team has been hard at work on this new site for (can you believe it) over SIX years. Websites may appear simple on the surface, but hundreds (possibly thousands) of hours of collective effort has gone into making this internet thing GO. 

Team AFP obsessed for hours over questions like, “How should the site be sectioned and organized?”, “What text/image should go where?”, “How many pixels away from that thing should this thing be?”, and even “What about in 2035 when Amanda is touring on Mars? What then?!” Above all, we wanted to build something that will serve the community with better ways to connect with other people, especially because we are sensing that The End of Social Media As We Know It Is Coming (and we feel fine). Building a place where people can hang out away from Facebook and Twitter was at the top of our list, and this site was created to be very expandable as times change. 

This WHOLE process started years ago some time in 2014 with a “vision boarding” session in NYC, and we couldn’t be more happy after many delays and years of work to finally present it to the world. We hope that you can feel the love that went into it. It was no inexpensive task, and my patrons footed the bill. To my patrons: thank you. You funded this piece of glory!
